Wrecks & Relics 21st Edition [9780859791342]
Date Added: Thursday 11. September, 2008
Accepted as the UK’s foremost aviation heritage reference book, the 21st Edition of ‘Wrecks & Relics’ continues to uphold the high standards set by the previous 20 editions.
Compiled by Flypast editor Ken Ellis (who knows a bit about aviation history!), ‘Wrecks & Relics’ has built up a well-earned reputation as the single best reference source on the UK and Ireland’s aviation heritage sector. It charts the current status of numerous museums, collections and workshops along with military and civilian instructional airframes, derelicts and ‘long forgotten’ airframes.
Arranged on a geographic basis, it is a very useful touring guide for the aviation historian and enthusiast alike and provides details of visitor attractions; including exhibits, locations, opening times, contact points, web sites and much more.
If you don’t already own a copy, you should – and if you own an earlier edition, it’s out of date, mate!
