I picked this off the shelf and it simply had to be added to the library! The authors not only know their facts, but have interspersed personal accounts and anecdotes which add to the readability of what could have been a dry technical tome. Instead, it's brought to life by the narrative and a variety of pictures which must surely make this the "go to" reference source for information on this train.

The volume is well laid out and the whole book oozes quality. It's not a cheap acquisition, but for what's within it's well worth the price and thoroughly recommended.
