Great Western Infrastructure is a book of amazing images from the period 1922-34 and all from the Wallis collection. The late Edward Wallis was a signal engineer employed by the Southern, but who also traveled and recorded signalling and infrastructure on the GWR as well. (Vol 1 of 'Southern Infrastructure was released in 2013 and has received wide acclaim. A second 'Southern' volume is scheduled for late 2014. Both SR books cover the period 1922-34.)
