This is the second volume of David Shepherd's photographic tribute at the end of BR steam. This time the concentration is on the LMR and NE areas (although there are a few pages of Southern as well). Moody, nostalgic, and thought provoking, here we witness the steam classes that remained to the end; dirty and unkempt, yet still providing service even if 'management' were so keen to be rid of them.
